Moral Choices Workshops

The United States today is facing serious and dangerous threats to our civil and human rights. Attacks on voting and civil rights, immigration, reproductive justice, and LGBTQ+ rights are threatening our health, our safety, and our personal autonomy. What does Judaism say about these vital issues, and what can we, as Jews and as Americans, do to make a difference?

What: A series of workshops where we will explore Jewish text and teachings on these issues, learn about current legislative and public policy initiatives, and discuss possible actions that we can take as individuals or as a congregation. These workshops will be presented by Rabbi Bonnie, and will be hosted both in-person and over Zoom.

When:
Civil Rights and Voting - Sunday, April 6 [2:00pm-3:30pm]

Immigration - Sunday, April 27 [2:00pm-3:30pm]

Reproductive Justice - Sunday, May 4 [2:00pm-3:30pm]

LGBTQ+ Rights - Sunday, May 8 [2:00pm-3:30pm]
